Description:
Drainage repair works were carried out at a commercial site in Kendal to address a failed and damaged linear drainage system that was no longer providing effective surface water management. The existing channel had deteriorated due to traffic loading and long-term wear, resulting in poor drainage performance and localised surface damage.

The works involved the careful removal of the existing defective drainage channel and surrounding materials, followed by excavation and preparation of the substrate to receive a new ACO linear drainage system. The new channel was installed with precise alignment and level control to ensure correct falls and efficient water discharge. Surrounding concrete surfaces were reinstated to integrate seamlessly with the existing pavement and trafficked areas.

All works were completed with a focus on durability, functionality, and minimal disruption to the operational commercial environment.
